Plastic Hardware Network News: On January 12th, it was revealed at the Chongqing Industrial and Information Technology Work Conference that in 2016, Chongqing will continue to increase the promotion of major projects, accelerate the development of emerging industries, and strive to achieve an annual output value of 280 billion yuan.

Among them, in the new materials industry, projects such as Chongqing Iron and Steel Pohang Cold Rolling and Galvanizing will be started, and the construction of projects such as Zaisheng Technology Air Filter will be accelerated. Projects such as Ansteel Galvanized Sheet and Juyuan Stainless Steel will be promoted to production.

It is reported that Ansteel ThyssenKrupp (Chongqing) Automotive Steel Co., Ltd. was officially put into operation in September 2015. The project plans to produce 450000 tons of high-strength galvanized automotive sheet metal, but has not yet reached production capacity. Chongqing Iron and Steel and South Korea's Pohang joint venture cold-rolled galvanized steel project signed a contract in August 2015. The project produces high-grade cold-rolled galvanized steel sheets for automobiles and household appliances, with an expected production scale of 2.4 million tons per year.

Institutions believe that Chongqing's increased promotion efforts this time will help boost the production of galvanized steel sheets.
